• Rihanna’s father gave an interview detailing his past drug use.

In an interview the U.K.’s The Mirror, Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, discussed the time when a then 9-year-old Rihanna caught him smoking crack. Fenty said: "I turned and looked Rihanna in the eye and instantly came back down from the high I was on. I saw her run for her mother, ask her something and then they both started to cry. I had no idea she had been watching. It was the lowest point - life just stopped and I realized what a fool I had been."
After that, Rihanna’s mother gave her dad the boot and was stopped from seeing his daughter. But now Fenty says he is clean and is a part of his superstar daughter’s life. He actively encourages her to avoid the pitfalls of celebrity, including drug use. The most interesting part of the interview was that when the paper tracked her father down in Barbados, he was reportedly, “hawking tacky toys, perfume and household items from the boot of a battered Nissan car.”
So basically Rihanna’s living the glamorous life while her father is the local hustle man? He says he hasn’t asked her for any money. Let’s hope Rihanna donates some soon.
