• Monica talks new clothing line, album and son with blogger, Sandra Rose.
THE SPIN:
Monica spoke with gossip blogger, Sandra Rose, to share details about her new son, and new plans for her career. The singer, with her boyfriend, rapper Rocko Da Don (the mastermind behind the lyrical gem, “Umma Do Me”), have two young sons: Rodney Ramone Hill III or Lil’ Rocko (it’s never too early for a rap name), who turns 3 in May, and the newborn, Romelo Montez, who is 8 weeks old (alias still pending).
The couple plan to launch an all-boys clothing line called Regions Rock. Their two sons will serve as models for the brand. I know, just what the world needs: another clothing line from a singer and rapper.
As for Monica’s day job (some of the time anyway), the singer’s next album is tentatively titled, “Lessons Learned.” Hopefully one of those lessons is, “thou shall not dance anymore.”
