Who's Got Jokes?: Episode 14
What’s up Who’s Got Jokes Fans?! We finally made it. Congratulations to my man Shawn Morgan for taking all! You came, you saw and you conquered. Good luck on the rest of your career and I’ll see you at the top.
There wasn’t too much comedy in this episode to comment on. This year they used Johnny Gill for the musical performer. Johnny was cool until he started all that damn yelling, but that’s how J.G. gets down. I would have loved to have commented on last year’s performance by K-Ci and JoJo. I’m not sure where they found those crack heads at, but it was hilarious! You had to see it for yourself; maybe they’ll replay it one day. If you decide to bring back an old school R&B group next year, try TROOP. I’m sure they’re somewhere washing cars and could use the money. Spread my wings, and fly awayyyyyyy…………..
I would like to take the time to thank Ralph Farquhar, Dewayne Corbitt, Bill Bellamy, Rikki Hughes, Yolanda Braxton, Tammy Garnes, Rodney Perry, Tommy Ford and the rest of the staff for creating another platform for young comedians to get exposure. There were some old azz comedians on the show, too. LOL!!! I meet a lot of old dudes who say, “All of my friends say they got what it takes to do standup and I missed my calling.” Man, if you’re 60 yearsold, collect yo 401k and sit yo old azz down. For all you rookies, I suggest you go to IMDB and find out who these producers are. This is a good way to get on your networking game.
Next, I have to thank Katrice Jones and James Hill from TV One’s Digital Media Department for allowing me to opportunity to do a comedic blog on the Web site. I have to send my biggest “Thank You” to Taryn Jackson!!! For 14 long weeks, Taryn had to sit at home every Saturday night so she could post my blog following the airing of each episode. WOOOWWW! I was constantly reminded about how she had been placed on TV One house arrest. So “Thank You Taryn.” Now in the words of T.I., “Iz You Happy?” Love the grammar. LOL
With all those thank you(s), you would have thought I won a Grammy. Which brings me to another point. I saw Ludacris win a Grammy for “Move B@%#* Get Out The Way.” Afterwards he thanked God for giving him the talent to write such a great song. LOL!! I don’t think God had anything to do with you writing that song man!!!
The comedy game lost two great comedians last month, Mike Porter and Rasheed Thurmond. My condolences go out to each of their families. Please keep them in your prayers.
To all my joke thieves, “STOP STEALING OTHER PEOPLE’S MATERIAL!!!!” Some of the jokes in these blogs are mine, so don’t steal them either. If you don’t have the time, be honest with the promoter. Don’t fill in with other people jokes, you lames. Who’s Got Jokes fans, thanks for checking out my blogs this season. Trust me, this will not be the last time you will see or hear from me. I’m a star in the making, baby! Like my man Martin Lawrence said, “I’m gonna ’ride this M@#$&%*# till the wheels fall off!’”
This season was way hotter than last year!!! I’m quite sure it’s going to get even better for season three. Make sure you tune in to TV One.

It is my opinion that the public was not the deciding factor in who won the competition. Clearly, the decision was already made and NOT justifiably so. Although I do realize my opinion has no weight, I will scream it from the top of the tallest mountain that whoever the decision maker(s) happened to be, YOU DID NOT DECIDE THE WINNER BASED ON WHO WAS MORE DESERVING AND THE WAY THAT TYLER CRAIG WAS ROBBED OF HIS PROPER PLACE IN THE COMPETITION WAS JUST WRONG!!!
