• The singer tells Blender magazine his plans to make “positive” music on his forthcoming fifth album.
THE SPIN:
Is Usher trying to give us some depth? Apparently, the singer, so-so actor, fragrance crafter, and new husband wants to compensate for what he feels is a lack of substance in music right now. Lack of substance? Clearly, he hasn’t heard “Soulja Girl.” Anyway, Usher spoke with Blender magazine about the new direction he’s embarking on for his forthcoming album. He says he’s making “positive music songs,” like the “Pro-gentleman,” “Chivalry,” and “Here I Stand,” which he says is about, “the valor of a man.” None of these songs sound like something I can jig to in the club. I bet most of these songs are a tribute to himself. Planned collaborations include Jay-Z, Beyonce and T-Pain. I guess Tameka’s blocking when it comes to a duet with Chilli. The album is due in spring, so gentleman, be ready to open some doors if you haven’t already.

Well, first off Usher should not have married that old lady. Ms. Thang already has three children she knows exactly what shes doing. Secondly, if its not broke don't fix it. So many Celebritys get money and then forgot how they got it. Dont get all whipped on her and want to change your style. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with growth but don't change your money making ways business is business.
