THE FACTS:
• Bobby Brown is allegedly showing up at Whitney’s doorstep, begging to be taken back.
THE SPIN:
The King of R&B wants his queen back. Apparently, Bobby’s been trying desperately to win Whitney back. He wants her back more than he wants a hit. Hit of what? I’ll leave that to your imagination.
Anyhow, a member of Nippy’s family has been telling gossip columnist Bill Zwecker that Bobby has shown up outside of Whitney’s door, pleading for reconciliation. And guess what? He showed up high! It’s no secret Whitney is trying hard to stay clean for the sake of her health and certainly the health of her career. So what does Bobby do? Remind her of the powder and herbal recess that got her in trouble -- allegedly. Now that is smooth. Play on player, play on. I guess he forgot it’s no longer 1992 and Whitney’s been trying to kick the one thing that they did have in common..
He would have done better showing up and blasting Tank’s “Please Don’t Go” -- that or Whitney’s “I Have Nothing.” Now that’s game.
