Get into The Spin everyday as TV One’s Online blogger, Michael Arceneaux brings you daily doses of celeb gossip and news.
TODAY (OCT. 31): Kanye to Write Book
THE FACTS:
• Kanye West is writing a book, due early next year.
THE SPIN:
Kanye West has just added the title of author to his growing list of jobs, including rapper, producer, label head and perpetual tantrum thrower.
Making the announcement via his personal blog, Kanye says he’s teamed up with co-author J. Sakiya Sandifer to pen the book Thank You And You're Welcome! Kanye describes the book as “an entertaining volume of ‘Kanye-isms’ -- the creative, humorous and insightful philosophies and anecdotes used in creating my path to success.”
According to Kanye, the book, which will retail for $10, “captures the same wit, playful irony, and piercing insight found abundant in my lyrics.” Uh huh.
I can’t wait to gain insight on how to properly articulate my delusions of grandeur and how to effectively whine about not winning awards. You know, in that colorful playful way that people love.
I can’t wait for the introductory chapter: “Self-love is the best love…especially when you’re Kanye West.”
YOUR SPIN: Are you excited to read Kanye's book?
