THE FACTS:
• Shar Jackson has revealed she’s seriously considering recording an album.
THE SPIN:
Shar Jackson is famous for being the other baby-mama to Britney Spears’ baby-daddy. No one seems to remember her for anything else. Not Moesha. Not – I’m drawing a blank here – anything else she’s ever done (that is, if she has). But like most people famous for nothing, she’s been trying to exploit her connection to Britney Spears into some kind of viable career.
You would think she would shoot for an acting career, but no, Shar Jackson wants us to hear her sing and watch her bust a two-step. In an interview with AllHopHop.com, Shar said three labels have already approached her about a record deal – two of them being major labels.
Why bother? She’s cursed two-fold. Everyone connected to Brandy that’s tried to pursue a career in music has had either extremely limited success or total failure. Hi, Ray J and Countess Vaughn.
And while I have still yet to see Britney’s attraction to Kevin, I’m now aware of what brought him and Shar together: neither one of them knows their limits.
