TODAY (OCT. 22): Prince’s Computer Blues

THE FACTS:
• Prince is being sued for $1 million in damages by a man claiming the musician took 12 hard drives and never returned them in addition to damaging a computer.

THE SPIN:
This is what it sounds like when nerds cry. In a lawsuit filed last week, Ian Lewis claims that Prince took 12 computer drives worth $12,000, alleging that Prince and his camp never had any intention of returning them or paying for them. I think he has his 80s pop icons confused. Michael Jackson is the one who doesn’t pay his bills, not Prince.

Then again, Lewis must have some idea that Prince has money, because he’s suing him for $1 million over the discs and a $25,000 computer he claims Prince returned broken.

How do you go from $37,000 to $1 million? What exactly was on that computer -- old pictures of Vanity?

YOUR SPIN: Is dude going over board by asking for $1 million?
