TODAY (OCT. 15): Court Puts Snoop on Trash Duty
THE FACTS:
• As part of a settlement, rapper Snoop Dogg has been sentenced to three years probation, a $1,000 fine and 160 hours of community service for carrying an illegal baton to an airport last year.
THE SPIN:
Bow wow wow, yippe yo, yippe yay, that’s definitely Snoop Dogg picking up trash on the side of the…road.
Last September Calvin Broadus (aka Snoop Dogg) was stopped at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Calif. for carrying a baton. Why was he carrying a baton around? Your guess is as good as mine. Snoop told airport officials the baton was used as a prop for a video shoot in New York. I guess some things you just can’t leave behind – or trust Fed Ex to ship.
As a result he’ll be spending time with a park ranger assisting with the clean up efforts in Orange County.
Anyone else feel like driving through the O.C. and asking Snoop to sign their copy of Doggystyle?
