THE SPIN (Daily Dose of Celebrity News): HAMMER RISES FROM DEAD
Get into The Spin everyday as TVONEONLINE blogger, Michael Arceneaux brings you daily doses of celeb gossip and news.
TODAY (OCT. 11): Hammer Rises from Dead
THE FACTS:
• Despite internet rumors, MC Hammer is not dead, his rep confirms.
THE SPIN:
Shame on all of you who tried to kill off MC Hammer. Sure, his career died before Clear Pepsi bombed the world over, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to start a rumor that he’s passed. Sinbad didn’t find the humor in it, so I’m sure neither did Hammer.
Hammer’s rep (isn’t it nice he still has one) has confirmed that the one time multi-millionaire with good credit is very much alive. Though an individual with the name of Stanley Burrell died recently, it is not Hammer.
So what is Hammer up to these days besides not being dead? Supposedly he is on plan number 1012 on trying to revive his career (doesn’t hurt to believe in miracles). He’s starting a Web site called DanceJam where people can upload videos of themselves dancing and Hammer will critique and rate their moves.
Oh…ok. I’m just going to focus on the positive that he’s very much alive. His career continues to be another story.
