THE SPIN:
Everyone start camping out at Zales: Kanye West is launching a jewelry line.
The self-professed Louie Vuitton Don is partnering up with Takashi Murakami, who designed the cover work for Kanye’s Graduation album. The two unveiled a prototype of the jewelry collection at designer Givenchy's New York fashion show last week.
On the line, Kanye said: "They'll be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds."
It’s good that I don’t wear jewelry, because I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to afford anything from someone that constantly boasts of their love of couture anyway.
While I’m not buying it, I’m encouraging you Kanye fans to at least give his line some consideration. We know what happens when he doesn’t get his way.
If any of you want to get me something so I can pawn it, feel free. I’m all for sparing him from another temper tantrum and making a little extra money.
