THE FACTS:
• Actress Meagan Good is pregnant.
• Boyfriend Thomas Jones of the New York Jets announced the news Tuesday on the Miss Jones In The Morning on Hot 97 in New York.
THE SPIN:
Meagan Good is the latest celebrity turned baby-mama. The actress, known for her roles in Eve’s Bayou, You Get Served, and Biker Boyz, is expecting her first child.
Congrats are in order, but after constant media swarming over a highly-contested custody battle featuring some other celebrity (perhaps you’ve heard of it since it’s usually covered on the major news networks often before the war in Iraq is), I feel compelled to warn Good about a few things before she bears her first child.
1. Brush your children’s teeth. I don’t want to see photographs of them looking like a “dental don’t.”
2. Have a valid driver’s license if you’re going to drive your children around. I know, I would think that’s common sense, too.
3. Stay home for a few months after your child is born. You’re somebody’s mama now. The club will still be there.
Not that Good has given any sign that her parenting skills should be questioned, but I’d rather warn her now than write about it in 18 months.
