Is Mariah Carey too good to be ugly on film? That’s the word. Apparently in her new film, Tennessee (in which she replaced Janet Jackson), Mimi nearly pulled out after being asked to don a fake nose. It seems the singer known for wearing pounds of make up and being uncomfortable wearing flat shoes wasn’t keen on the idea of appearing ugly. Imagine that. The star signed up to play waitress Krystal, but was reluctant once she discovered she would have to wear a prosthetic nose, bushy eyebrows and
braided hairstyle for the part. You would think after the worldwide box office success of Glitter Mariah would take what she can get.
