• Foxy Brown’s defense lawyer drops out after his wife is threatened.
THE SPIN:
Someone has spooked the mess out of Foxy Brown’s defense lawyer – or should I say ex-defense lawyer. Attorney Alan Stutman, who was representing the walking advertisement for anger management classes, told police that on Friday night an unidentified man threatened his wife in the lobby of their Brooklyn building.
The man apparently got out of a silver car, then confronted Stutman’s wife, asking her, "How can a beautiful woman like you be beaten up?". Then he fled.
I don’t know about you, but that’s enough for me to fire Foxy Brown as a client and go buy an old Lil’ Kim album.
For Foxy Brown, the beat goes on as she has pleaded not guilty to charges that she beat her neighbor down with her BlackBerry in July.
