okay, im a nerd! i like to read and write and well....im pretty much a nerd. anyways, im a sucker for black novels and im really into this new one I'm reading by April Sinclair titled
--COFFEE WILL MAKE YOU BLACK-- my mom says that her mama use to say that and then i realized the book was set in like the 1960s. It's pretty good! everybody should read it, but the main character Stevie and I relate so much that when i read this portion of the book and then the poem i just felt connected. so enjoy it as much as i did!

"What Good"

What good is a flower if it can't bloom?
What good is expansion if you have no room?
What good is a twig if it can't sprout?
What good is a voice, if it can't shout?
What good is life, if you can't be free?
And what good am I, if I can't be me?

- by Stevie
