alright, so i got back home like last weekend from staying with my uncle who stays in the biloxi, ms area. i know, left a bad situation in new orleans and into an even bigger one. new orleans got the flooding but in ms we got the hell of it all since it seemed to be heading right for us. how could i sleep when i could literally feel the walls shake with the roaring the wind and the house shaking like it was. yall, it WAS NOT fun. and now im back in houston, upset and from xavier. i was really getting into the swing but being an independent college student until KATRINA came and well most of new orleans came here so i aint missin much in the clubs. haha ne ways anybody know where im coming from, were from the new orleans area or EVEN FROM XAVIER, holla at me and lemme know what YOU'RE doing. right now, im pending on whether im going back to xu. i wanna finish up the semesters that i planned to finish and thats my freshman year and then come back into my neck of the woods. i traveled to N.O alot before this storm came and now im feelin like it just wont be the same. holla back

Hello! You're not alone. I just started Grad School at Xavier. I'm from the westbank. My home took in about three feet of water. I lost alot of valuable and sentimental things. I have my good days and bad ones. I'm living in Garland, TX, but there's no place like home. On top of that, I teach in Orleans Parish School System, so i'm homeless and jobless. But, I know God has a bigger plan for me.
Keep the Faith,
Gwen
