so im trying to figure out whats the benefits??? i've tried the long distance thing and it didn't work before so i don't know why this guy thinks it will work again. see, im talking to this guy and well, we're cool, but he wants to start going out. im not sure with him being up north and me down in houston going to NOLA really soon. and im the type who needs the attention, so with him not being here, am i settng myself up for failure if i decide that i DO want to hook up with him? i like him and everything but damn. it's really eating me up trying to figure out what to do. any extended advice???

I'm in a long distance relationship now and believe me, it's not easy. my boyfriend is in michigan and i'm in south carolina. i was worried about him cheating on me, but i've been in a lot of situations where i almost cheated on him. if u feel that u have feelings for him then u owe it to urself to give the relationship a chance. if u get to NOLA and decide the relationship isn't working, u can always break it off. no matter what u decide to do, make sure it's what will make YOU happy. good luck girl
