I NEED YA'LL

Janine Quarles · Tuesday, August 9th 2005 at 6:53PM · 526 views
Hey All...well, today was supposed to be the day that I left for Bennett. But things took a turn for the worst. I was supposed to leave Boston @ 1:30pm today. But my mother was rushed to the hospital this morning. She's a diabetic and she has somewhat of a history of heart problems. They're saying that she has a "diseased artery" which means that it seems to be deteriorating. She also has sarcoidosis, a lung disease that affects ALOT of Black people, but (of course) they don't know what causes it, or how to cure it...or even how to detect it from its start. She looks good, and says she feels fine. But every now and then her heart rate gets a little high.
My mother is one of the BEST people you'll ever meet. I always seem to wonder how can someone who is said to have a "golden heart" have heart problems? But then I thought, maybe she's just here to bless those around her....in spite of her sickness.
As of now, I don't know what the future holds. I'm not even sure if she'll be able to bring me to school. But I ask for you, my brothas and sistahs, to keep me and especially my mom in your prayers.
Love ya'll,
*Janine*
P.S. I'mma STILL turn it out at Bennett!!!! :-p

Dont give up. God is doing this for a reason. Look at it as maybe something was getting ready to happen and this is his way of keeping from danger. He knows what hes doing. Trust him, love him and im praying for you and your mom. Much love and prayer-Quice

This is really sad news, but there's an old saying, "After the rain, comes sunshine" know that everything happens for a reason, even if WE don't understand it, GOD has a greater plan for all of us.

Don't fret too much. At least she's ok. Golden hearts often break down too...trust me on that. I hope that your mom will be OK. Keep your head up and don't let the Devil get you down...

May our Father God touch and heal your mother's body from all illnesses. Since I know it will be done, I praise Him now for all his grace and mercy and for the miraculous healing of your mother.

Don't get off course, Baby Girl. God will handle this.
