19 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!1
Oh my goodness....19 days and i'll officially be a college fresh"woman"! :-p....I am too excited! But you know what, even though I'm excited about school, I don't think it has fully registered. Sometimes I call my friends from high school, and we speak as if we're going to see each in September again...act a fool in a homeroom, and go about business as usual, as if it were another school year. I guess I haven't come to grips with the reality that I may not see some people again. No more silly excuses for not bringing in your homework; no more meeting at White Stadium (Boston heads know what i'm talkin' about) and carpooling to the football games...going to McDonald's in Egleston Sq. afterwards; no late nights at Bickfords after the semi-formals, or late-night phone calls, where we would read "A Tale of Two Cities" together, because we KNEW that we would never get through that book alone! No more sparknotes.com, the morning before a quiz. No more skipping study hall in the cafeteria; or hangin' in Mr. Lansana's room during lunch...no more assemblies, no more spirit day....high school is now over.
As I end this chapter in my life, I'm sad that I have to let go and actually grow up. I'm happy that I made it through this trying period in my life, and that I met some amazing people along the way. And I'm excited to see what God has planned for me next.
19 Days and counting ya'll.....
