Fantasia on Broadway
Isn’t Fantasia just the perfect person to play Miss Celie in “The Color Purple” on Broadway? She’s got the look, and we know the “American Idol” has got the vocals... but can a sister act?

Well, TV One Access got the low down from theater critic Clive Barnes who told “Access” not only can Fantasia act, but she can “...act so wonderfully. So tenderly, so touchingly, so effortlessly. That came as a surprise.”

Well, go on now! With this critic’s rave review, do you think you will go to New York to see Fantasia on stage? If you’ve already seen the musical, will you go again to see Ms. Barrino?

Making the Band Choreographer Gets the Boot
The fiery-eyed dance choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson from “Making the Band” recently got booted off the show after she got into an argument (and what some are calling a physical fight) with Diddy and guest judge Michael Bivens, according to Eurweb.com.

Diddy and Bivens allegedly raised a chair to the sister and grabbed her after seeing some less than impressive dance performances for the new season of the show , according to EurWeb. But sources close to Diddy and Bivens told the media not to believe the hype. They say it was all done to add a dramatic effect to the show and Gibson overreacted.

IF this is true, then when the heck will Black folks learn not to start fights in public and when the cameras are rolling that perpetuate our negative stereotypes?!

That is so stupid. How would diddy like it, if someone would do him that way? If your show needs "dramatic effects", then maybe the show needs to be cancelled, if you have to go through all of that to make the show a hit. Diddy, go back to school, and enhance your mind.

Dramatics or not....Diddy cocky attitude needs to be checked sometime and Mr. Bivens need to stop being Diddy's pet...he is followign him around and hanging on his every word....No Ms. Laruie Ann might have been feeling herself when the cameras we rolling cause she wasn't half as brutal to the ladies of making the band so I say....MTV lay off the script just a little and what do you expect when you work for Diddy has no one realized yet that none of his groups last....I'm mean he's a huslter form himself in the game but for non one else....Those dudes as good as they sing ain't never gone make it as long as they are on Bad Boy....but Laurie Ann did have the dudes shook....Then again I like the look of the new choreography on the guys so....problem solved or doeas Diddy need to stop making bands that only make 1 hit....
