So, What if I am a Black Woman?
A little 7 year old girl captures the hearts of listeners as she eloquently recites; So, what if I am a Black Woman?
The Black woman appearing in the photograph is perhaps the most well-known of all the Underground Railroad's "conductors." During a ten-year span she made 19 trips into the South and escorted over 300 slaves to freedom. And, as she once proudly pointed out to Frederick Douglass, in all of her journeys she "never lost a single passenger."

I like this Tressia. You wouldn't happen to know who the author of this poem is, would you? I tried to find out but came up empty.
