Crying in Mississippi

Ansley Merriweather · Wednesday, June 15th 2005 at 4:47PM · 243 views
I found a new friend in the office that I work in and she is 47 years old. She was married for 24 years w/ two children age 23 and 18. Her husband recently divorced her and she didn't fight the divorce because of the her daughter's sickness. He only has to give child support which is $200 a month because of his pay. She is feeling terrible about and stays in prayer. She feels as though her life is coming to an end without her even knowing about it. What to do?

Pray, in circumstances like this, pray pray and pray. When things look down you gotta look up. Pray and leave it alone.

Seek the Lord. Her life is not at all about to end. Tell Her I said read Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Icorinthians. She has children to take care of and I know its hard but they need her. Also tell her to get these books Plenty Good Room by Cheri Paris Edwards, Daughters of the King by Gail M. Hayes, Showing Mary by Renita J. Weems. PLEASE TELL HER TO GET THESE BOOKS AND TO KEEP HER HAED IN THE WORD OF GOD. email me and let me know how things get

All she can do is pray and know that the Lord will provide. The Lord never puts more on us then we can handle ourselves. When she feels like she can do nothing else tell her to step back and put it in the hands of God.

I have to agree with everyone else. She has to keep praying and put as much time into her children as possible. The best way to occupy a hurting heart and mind is to keep them busy. Fill them up with good things and what's better than time with God and your children. She also needs to be around someone who has survived this serious ordeal. Testimonies of overcoming work wonders. To hear that someone went through the same kind of problem and survived strengthens our faith.
