When should we start promoting our HBCUs to kids?

At conception. :)

My “Promote My (and other) HBCU Alma mater” switch is always in the “ON” position.

We must start with them at conception. We must take our kids to HBCU campuses and expose them to the wonders of HBCU life. We must explain to our kids why they were founded and how important they were to our ancestors. Just thinking about the richness of the HBCU heritage and tradition is truly electrifying.
