It took over 25 years to DO IT...but it is finally done.

I finished writing my first book, "Cotton Pickin' Paycheck-A 21st Century Journal of Escape from Slavery"-It is the first of three in a series. I describe in great detail how I formulated my FIRST 15 lessons learned in life. What an emotional JOURNEY to go back in time? This book covers a period from 1850-1988 in my family's historical journey to FREEDOM from Virginia Slavery to MODERN DAY SLAVERY.

U can preview the first 12 pages at

Then U click on the book cover.

I give GOD the praises for enabling me to endure to complete the task.
I set a goal to be done by my dad's 100th birthday which was this PAST SATURDAY...so I AM SHOUTING AND PRAISING HIS NAME RIGHT NOW!

It will not be released to the PUBLIC GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION NETWORK until much later. For now I am only giving a sneak peek to my "inner circle"!

Sisterly love,

Joan
