I'd like to take this time to say Congratulations to my husband for 20 years in the U.S. Navy. He retired on last week. I have served as an active duty Navy wife for 16 years married and 2 years dating. It was hard at times but a real good and blessed life. We are now 38 years young and God has more in store for us.

What an awesome testimony and proud of the both of You and God had to be in the midst with the divorce rate higher in the military than the world average of 50-60%. Thats a testimony for the both of You and to raise a good family. I did not know Your husband was in the military and that You were the wife of a military man. You say a lot in this blog about patience, persistance, dedication, thick and thin and just think on there divorce court shows, some folks get divorced for some things bordering on simple, I am saying that lightly as not to be taken judgemental.
And truth, both of You are young, and now You 2 have much more time together, Lol!
Congratulations! maybe there is hope for me and whomever my future may be??? Lol!

By the way, great pick and did I ever tell You how Army Men as myself and the Army in general would bust each other out back and forth?
One of my funniest ribs was that a man in white bell bottoms and on a boat with other men for at least 6 months, could not tell me anything! You should have heaqrd what the Navy men had to say about the Army.
Airforce, Marines? Well... Let's just say, like black college universities, only us in the military could rib on each other and it was 99.9% fun, camaraderie, jest, honor etc.

By the way, Dallas has T.O., I won't add to the pain of busting on yall this year! He'll do that all by himself chances are...
