Peace


It only exists in the internal state

in this world of hate, in this messed up place

where war is as common as a handshake

war between the two after they handshake

then comes the earthquakes,

tsunamis and hurricanes followed by the heartache

peace/ that second before the tornadoes touched ground

touched ground, leaving homes strewn around

i got your peace... they are fighting in the middle east

while over here i cant sleep/ dreaming about this beast

thats looks a lot like that bush

peace comes when you high off dat kush

asking drug induced questions like how do you know that's really east?

the same way we really think we know peace

it only exists in the internal state

glimpses of it seen on the simple persons' face

it aint here or over there we've been knocking on the wrong door

you cant fight for it thats working backwards

peace aint the aftermath of war

there is no/ will be no/ cant be no/ world peace.

fighting wars and natural disasters just to get a piece

making negotiations all in vain it only exists internally.
