Well the decision is kinda simple but I just dont know. see I am a student at Benedict college in SC, but its HIGH AS HELL. I am talkin 13000 a semester and would be more if i stayed on campus. Well I moved to SC about a year ago and I found out that after a year I can be a legal resident. Well that means I can get instate tuition at other schools. Benedict doesnt have instate or out of state tuition so its the same for everybody. But I was accepted to SC STATE about 20 minutes away from columbia. Well I am debating on if i should stay at BC because I play baseball or just suck it up and goahead and save my pockets later on and go to SC state for 1/3rd the price of Benedict. any advice would be appreciated.

go where you believe that you get the most use out of. you are probably a good student so go where you can help out the baseball team. M.I.A.M.I.

the price is the same to attend b-cc. and b/c its a private college tuition is the same for everyone...its like $17,000 a year...i have the faith that the Lord will make a way for me to pay the $$$. im sure ill be paying loans for a few years. but i want to be a wildcat so bad that its priceless. follow your heart. stop looking at the dollar amount. college in an investment. if your getting your monies worth stay there!

Benedict is a suberb school I think. Is there any type of way you can get scholarships of some type. I know Benedict has a Scholarship department. The directors name is Ms. Vareva Harris she has really helped me with getting prepared to come to Benedict. Maybe you should get in contact with her. Also Benedict's website has a application you can fill out to recieve scholarships of sorts. I hope it's not to late for you to recieve this.

I think you should come to Jackson State University.

You mentioned you play baseball, you should ask if they can offer scholarship funds for baseball. I know they give funds for many sports. best of luck. I'm just paid that bill for my son, this will be his first year in school and I'm hoping he like benedict coming from ATL. any advice you can share would be appreciated. thanks, Parent.
