Chance of a lifetime...

Man, I was so hurt. I didnt get to see Nikki Giovanni perform while she was here. Not only that, but the she let the patrons of the Mocha Room perform for her on Fri. and they took pics. and everything. I was hurt to the point of tears man.
Anyway, I was chillin with my spoken word mentor when he tells me that Nikki G. invited us to her school in Virginia. I'm mad trippin right now cuz I'm realizing that this is the chance of a lifetime. I missed it once and I'm not going to miss it again.
We may even be slammin against some of her students. I'm trippin, I have only to praise God for this one...yessss indeed!
