Thoughts of Regret...

Rishaurd Wallace · Sunday, April 16th 2006 at 11:08PM · 353 views
Have you ever let an opportunity pass you by? Have you ever opted not to take advantage of something when you had the chance? Do you ever wish you could change something that has altered you? Do you ever feel like there are times when you have let yourself down? Do you ever wonder, "What if..."? Have you ever thought you couldn't or didn't just because you just weren't enough? Has the past ever haunted you? Do you ever think that sometimes, you are simply forgotten? Why were we humans given these feelings of regret? Why do we need to be accepted by those we attempt to befriend? What is the purpose of regret? Is it to cause guilt for a bad decision or to build character? Why is it that some things are more regretable than others? Is acceptance the only feasable solution to regret, or are we to be forever taunted by it's ominious presence? Why regret anything and nothing? Is that our purpose?

I think everyone has that feeling. I've had many experiences where I wonder..."what if?" I just try to live life to the fullest and as morally as possible...

Everybody has had that feeling once or twice in life but as long as we live with no regrets we'll be cool.

All things happen for a reason and we have choices Bro.
Great question, have been there done that and have to keep living and striving ahead.

I think that God allows us to make our own decisions, but I also believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe all of the choices you make in life are preparing you for something greater down the road. You may have some regrets, but you will learn to accept what has already happened and move on. Your regrets can be used as stepping stones to your future and not hinder you and keep you stuck in the past and what ifs. Acceptance is the key to letting go and moving on.
