Rage

Ok, now usually I'm a calm, logical, rational, laid-back, guy with little to no beef with anybody, but last night, I came about 5 minutes away from losing all of that. So me and my best friend were at the mall just walkin' around. We were going from store to store looking for the all white Helly-Hansens and our search lead us into Champs. Now this particular mall has had problems with underage "disturbances" so they have recently initiated an adult supervision requirement for patrons under the age of 18. So when we entered Champs, this big, fat, sweaty, nasty-lookin', behemoth walked up to me and my boy and said that I couldn't be in the store with my bookbag. We obliged him and turned to leave when HE stopped us and asked if were under 21. We told him we were, but we were stopped by the police upon our entry into the mall, and he said we were good to go. He felt he was still right and that our statements had offended him or something and contorted his face like we were wrong. Then he snatched his walkie talkie off his waist and started waving it around like he was trying to threaten us with it. I asked him, "What you're going to call the police or something?", but I could feel everything in my body tighten and I could feel pure anger beginning to consume my entire presence. My friend (this is why he is my boy) could tell I was past heated and about to kick "Chunky-Munky" in his sweaty mouth, and rushed me out the store. I'm talking mad forms of garbage and attemped to go back in but he kept pulling me away. Eventually he got me away from the vicinity of the store, but he hadn't calmed me down. I was still heated and I NEEDED to break something. Unfortunately, the only thing around to break was glass and where would that have left me? We got to the foodcourt and I'm pacing back and forth while he ordered our food trying to keep it together. I had to call another friend so she could calm me down, but that really didn't work. I even left the mall and stood in the parking lot and I promise I could see steam coming off my hands! (People were looking at me like I was crazy while I was on my phone because I have a Bluetooth head set so it looked like I was talking to myself) I ate, silently, bought my shoes, silently, and left the mall, silently all the while enraged that this dumb*** ni%#$ came at me and my friend like we were causing him a problem...
What I fail to understand in people is why when they are given a position of authority (dude wasn't even a security guard he worked @ Champs) they feel the need to exploit it and try to ruin someone elses life. Why? All I know is if had no sense or a future, and if I was "thugged out" then I'd be in jail now...Thanks everybody for helping me maintain control...Rishaurd "The King of Hearts" Wallace

wow...thats deep. Luckily your friend was there to hold you back because you would have been in more trouble than u had to be. You seem very mature about the situation in a sense because you did calm yourself down. Thats not something I normally see. I really think that whole adult supervision thing is kinda dumb because it is not a club its a shopping mall and I personally feel disrespected when im overlooked because of my age. Stay out of trouble my dude lol.
