My thoughtz are deeply rooted
deeper than the National Debt, deeper than the african blood that runs through my body YES the same blood that shed from my slave anestors from the enduring pain they felt, I walk to day every day wit that on my shouldars, knowing if I dont move on noone will.. knowing that if I fail noone passes..the weight of a Revolution is own my shouldars..I cry the pain of Emment Till, I feel the hunger for knowledge like the little black kids deprived of a education.. I get treated different cause my skin tone tells you Im powerfull..and if provoked I will strike The weight of a whole generation lies in my pen, paper, and hands..the same hands that are filled with the sweat of harriet Tubman on a weary night Giving slaves there freedom...these thoughtz run through my mind....i cry tears of a revolution...... thank u
