On March 25-25, 2006 Alderman Dorothy Tillmans and Seniors of the 3rd ward will host the annual National Reparations Covention in Chicago at the Historic Parkway Ballroom, 4455 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, 9am-6pm. Registration is $10. There are student, seniors, and family rates available. Speakers include DR. CLAUDE ANDERSON, DR. The 2006 National Reparations Convention will discuss the Pyschological and Economic Effect of Slavery on the Descendants of Enslaved Africans in America.
