I'M A FLOOD VICTIM!

At 3 a.m today, my entire dorm was evacuated due to a pipe that had burst! The elevators were filled with water, water was coming down the stairs..... it was a mess!! 14 floors of women were thrown out of the dorm and we were sent to sleep on the floor in the lobby of another dorm. The floor was cold, it was impossible to sleep. We weren't allowed back into our dorm for a while, so my suite mates and I went to our friend's room after breakfest and slept on her floor- yes, another hard, cold floor. Then we were told that we were being sent to a motel and had to pack up some belongings to last us until Tuesday. We rushed back to pack up, only to later be told that the school was not going to pay for our motel. They told us to go home- this would have been ok except for the fact that I'm out of state!! So luckily my roommate's mother came and took us to her house to stay. I'm soooo frustrated about the whole situation. I paid all of this money to stay in that dorm and I get thrown out in the middle of the night, and our school just threw all of us out. They told us we could have stayed in the dorm at our own risk- yeah right!!
