A friend of mine asked me to post a poem on here so that's what I'm doing. Also, I've been debating wether or not to minor in writing. I'm a biology major, but i loveeee to write. So, please read this poem and tell me what you think. Thanks everybody!!!


Unite
Reach out your hand and grab unto mine
Together, me and you, we’ll begin to climb
We’ll beat all the odds and crush all barriers
We’ll help each other and for the weak we’ll be carriers
We’ll do things that we never dreamed of before
We’ll open up every single closed door.
You and me together won’t be held down
We won’t give up and by our enemies we won’t be found.
We’ll be untouchable and admired by all
We’ll catch the others if they happen to fall
We’ll be proud of our accomplishments and set high goals
And we’ll always have a good conscience and a pure soul.
And when the others are strong enough to come along
We’ll reach out our hands so they can tightly hold on
We’ll bring up a nation that will never fall apart
But first me and you must make the movement start.
