Sad News
I just found out that our beloved civil rights heroine, Rosa parks, passed away today. She died in her home of natural causes at the age of 92. My friend just sent me a text and told me. I didn't believe him, I had to check on google to see for myself. I'm just in shock. I'm sure others will have the same reaction as me.
I can't really say that I'm shocked. She lived nearly a full century so it really wasn't too surprising to me. But that's not to take anything away from her. She lived a long, full life.....made her mark on the world......and got to see 90+ years worth of change in society. It's kind of like when you go on the road......as much as you may like the place you visit, there's nothing like going home and that's just what she did....
