It's Real (Poetry)

Intrinsic with the art
Plus I’m world renown
God’s child, no longer living
Rugged and wild
Pending factors transformed and transitioned
My style
Testimonies, proven facts
Satan couldn’t hold me
His trickery couldn’t fold me
I use to pay him … now he owe me
Remembering what my mama told me
You reap what you sow, ask your Aunt Chloe
Don’t believe me … remember Joey
Here yesterday, but today he lays below me
It’s sad but it’s something that we have to grasp
To please God and to try to make life last
You live for the present and try to learn from the past
Your dreams, they hold the future, don’t you let em surpass
We only get the answers to the questions we ask
Survival is a life long task and being proud of who you are
Omits having to live your life through a mask
