Where’s my mama?
Can someone tell me please?

So my nerves will be eased
Is she over here? Is she over there?
I can’t find my mama anywhere

Every morning I wake up
I look for my mom
Instead I stretch and yawn
In someone else’s arms
Loving me unconditionally, keeping me calm
Being gentle… and to me
It’s moments like these I call sentimental
The same woman who obligated her lifestyle
Despite of what people had to say
and drew very close to me in her own special way
When I get older I’ll always remember her kindness
It’ll never go unforgotten
I’ll cry, she’ll pick me up and now I’m spoiled rotten
We laugh, shop, and even go to the doctor when I need it
God said I would be taken care of
and he guaranteed it
The mom I looked for was already here
