Advisory Board
I am writing to introduce myself as CEO/Founder of Inertize Sport's Acquisitions; to introduce my company and promote any assistance/expertise you could offer to my advisory board. An advisory board is a rare species in the small business ecology, yet assembling such a board may be one of the most important steps a CEO can take to assume an enterprise's success. Besides offering credibility and contacts, advisers working together provide guidance sharpened by boardroom debate, something individual mentors can't match, says Corey Hansen, a financial adviser specializing in small business at Smith Barney in Bellevue, Washington.
Unlike a board of directors, which has formal legal authority over a company's actions. That said, "if you're not willing to execute the advice of the board, then you'd better not put one together, warns Tony Eisenhut, managing director of Kensa Group, which forms companies to commercialize technologies developed by universities. First, begin with defining your company's challenges the company will face. What you're about to experience." How do you execute with the resources you have available? Take a look at how a small company, especailly one just starting up will probably struggle to find ideal advisers. Though you may not know personally someone who is a perfect fit, such people are probably closer than you realize. Your local networks- business organizations, Small Business Development Centers, and professional advisers can provide the introduction. The Right level of experience is required. You want to recruit someone who's beyond where you want to be. "Billion dollar experience might be responsive to both current and future customer needs and to ensure that we have redundant, yet complementary, capabilities and ample resources to respond to your increasing and evolving requirements. Our key management features include a stream-lined, integrated teaming partnership, successful client relationships using the most accepted project management methodoligies, proven Web-based management tools providing within the requisite technical disciplines, including a premier senior advisory committee, and proactive, empowered workforce.
