4th of July Weekend
It's that time of year again, time for the BBQs and the fireworks and just chillin with that special someone and/or family. I know my weekend will be off the chain, with the cookouts, and just ballin out. So what is everyone else doing this weekend.
I don't really celebrate "Independance Day", because when America won its freedom, the enslaved Black masses within it didn't. Independance day means nothing to me. But I guess I'll make good use of the long weekend. My family and I usually reflect on how far we as Black people have come....and how long the road to true equality and reparations really is. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend though. Peace.
