This is a little something I wrote when I was with my ex.

What Happened?

What happened to us, I thought we had it made.
But come to find out everything is beginning to fade.
At the start of this journey, my heart was guarded with fear.
As time went on I knew there was no trouble near.
Although you let your feelings be known, I neglected to do the same and because of that I feel so ashame.
ONe day we will be together, and look back at this and see.
How this moment made us stronger, more than we ever thought we would be.
