What is the possibility that our fuel problem is at the behest of the auto industries desperate need to offload foreign hybrid vehicles no one trust? Come on America, we went from Synthetic Fuel Corporation in the 80’s to $125 barrels of oil today. Come on and smell the light crude. Trade in your American V-8 for the Euro-Asian V-3, it is great on wind power. But that is only the have of it.
I live in a neighborhood that is mixed with retirees and young families of working class people. Of course there are a few single parent households, but over all everyone is as interested in living in a community that is safe for everyone. Surrounding our subdivision our empty and vacant lots and houses that are not being sold and costing developers millions of dollars. As I was coming home I noticed some gang graffiti on our entrance. At first I was worried about my family’s safety and the value of my property, but after contacting the police and cleaning the defaced wall I realized that what had this not been the work of “wanna-be’s” but tactic of developers desperate to scare us out of our subdivision and into one of their vacant properties.
Think about it, problems motivate people to do one or two things, fight or run. Most people are just making it and can’t afford to defend their rights in an official capacity. Sadly flight is easier than defending a position and this makes it easier for the union busters, corrupt institutions and unscrupulous agendas motivated by greed. It is amazing to reflect on how the tactics of the former cattle barons of yesterday reappear in today’s large developers and auto execs against the average working people.
