2008 UNCF Step Show Auditions and Registration Information
The Northern Ohio Inter-Alumni Council (N.O.IAC) of the United Negro College Fund is preparing its Seventh Annual United Negro College Fund Step Show. This program (April 12, 2008) will specifically benefit local students to attend college this fall. In previous years, this particular event raised over $6,000 to support deserving students to attend college. We want to surpass this goal and make a greater impact on the lives of our students.
We are encouraging various school groups and youth church/community groups throughout the Northeast Ohio area to create a step routine highlighting a Historically Black College or University, school spirit, and unity. The presentation is to promote a sense of pride, positive awareness, and self-esteem. Groups are encouraged to collaborate with members of a fraternity, sorority or military drill team to enhance their presentation.
Space is limited so dont delay. Submit an audition video entry form as soon as possible. Groups will be notified of their approval to participate beginning Friday, March 7, 2008.
