Would you watch it? (3317 hits)

I recently let a friend of mine borrow my digital camcorder to film his honeymoon with his new wife (both of whom I know very well). He was a close friend of mine while i was in school in SC and since I'm back in Ohio where I'm from and working now, I had to ship the camera to him. I did. We arranged to have it shipped back after the honeymoon, but for some reason this kid took his sweet time in sending it back to me. No problem. Finally I connect with this dude and arrange for shipment back to me. I got the camera (Actually, I let him borrow two digital cameras, one digital camcorder and one digital camera). This dude leaves his honeymoon footage in the camera! Wait, "what do married couples do on their honeymoon?" you think to yourself. Grown up things. I quickly turned the camera off and called the only number I had for him. Fortunately the number was still working, but I was forced to leave a message for him on voicemail. He hasn't returned my call. I never said anything about what footage he left in the camera, but I did indicate in no uncertain terms that he should call me ASAP because I had something he needed. I've told a few people about this and I've gotten mixed responses. Some suggest I look at it because it's in my camera and he shouldn't have left it and blah blah blah... Then there are the more morally aligned comments like that's not right, because it's their private memories and how would you like it if it were you, etc... Well, I'm not going to say what I did, but I'd like to know...what would you do?
