Central State University Dean of Business and Industry Dr. Charles Showell proudly accepted a donation in the amount of $6,836.79 on Thursday, June 26, 2008 from Kroger management including Kroger Vice President of Operations Reuben Shaffer. The dollars represented donations collected at area Kroger stores from February 3, 2008 through May, 2008. “Changing our Community” is a fundraising initiative in support of area organizations. Kroger patrons dropped loose coins in donation boxes at each register.
