
The June 20-26, 2008 edition of the Atlanta Business Chronicle lists the “100 Most Influential Atlantans.” Six with ties to Clark Atlanta University are among the honorees. They are: • Dr. Carlton E. Brown, president-designate of CAU (page 15c) • Trustee Richard A. Anderson, executive director of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (page 9c) • Trustee Lisa Borders, president of the Atlanta City Council and mayoral candidate (page 8c) • Trustee Ingrid Saunders Jones, chairperson of The Coca-Cola Foundation and senior vice president of The Coca-Cola Company (page 18c) • Former trustee David M. Ratcliff, chairman, president and CEO of Southern Co. (page 11c) • Alumnus Thomas W. Dortch Jr., immediate past chair of the Atlanta Business League (page 17c) Mr. Aristide Collins, vice president for Institutional Advancement and University Relations at CAU, said, “The Clark Atlanta University family is extremely proud of our incoming president, current and former trustees, and alumni who are represented on this list.
