Express Cards are basically smaller, faster, next generation PCMCIA (cardbus) ports and can be found on many newer systems.
NOTE: The ExpressCard slot is designed only for ExpressCards. It does NOT support PC Cards (PCMCIA Type II). If you have PCMCIA Type II cards consider buying a new laptop with that port availability or An ExpressCard to PCMCIA Adapter now available over the Internet.
No to your question my friend, ExpressCards will not work in your Laptop PC Card slot.
