WHAT: Will serve as the guest lecturer as a part of the Dean’s Lecture Series in the School of Business Administration.

BACKGROUND: Lieutenant General Honoré is a native of Lakeland, Louisiana. During his stellar career, he has become highly awarded and decorated while serving in a variety of command and staff positions, with overseas assignments including tours in Korea and Germany. Honoré commanded Joint Task Force - Katrina, leading the Department of Defense response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Southern University and a master’s degree from Troy State University, along with two honorary degrees.
