I Got To P (313 hits)

Encouragement Speaker Derrick Hayes

Have you seen the movie, "Why Did I Get Married?" It was another great movie by Tyler Perry. As my wife and I left out she said, "Honey I got to pee."

The last word she said inspired me to breath life into the sound of it. When I wake in the morning I got to Pray. I pray for my life, family, and friends. Even when it rains I can't complain. What helps me throughout each day is The Prayer of Jabez which you can find in Chronicles 1 4:9-10.

If you are having problems with your kids just say I Got to Parent. The Fresh Prince was right when he said that "Parents Just Don't Understand." Guess what kids don't either. Look for fun and creative ways to teach your children.

If you see yourself going in the wrong direction just say I Got To Park. One of the first people to know that something is not wrong is you. Be man or woman enough to get out the rough by making changes.

Do you know anyone that can use your mentorship? If so say I Got To Peer. There is nothing wrong with helping someone that can use your help. Get on your good foot and lead someone in the right direction.

I Got to Perceive. Wake up and smell your own coffeee. Have a sense for what is going on around you so that life will more on with you.

I Got To Peak. Look into your life and see how you can improve. Don't keep begging for a promotion when you can raise your standards and rise above the competition.

I Got To Perform. What good are the lights and camera if you give no action? Take it upon yourself to make a move. When you move and shake you will get a break.

I Got To Praise. Be thankful for your opportunities. They can be here today and gone tomorrow. Give praise to others and don't let pride keep the world from seeing what's inside.

I Got To Plan. Only 3% of all people put their plans into writing. If you plan to succeed it is easy for you to leap over 97% of the population. A man who plans for nothing can fail at anything.

I Got To Pass. Just because they throw you the ball doesn't mean you have to catch it. People throughout life will throw things at you. You have to decide what to keep and what to pass on.

I Got To Practice. Practice makes perfect. Keep working on what you do best and the rest will be history. Learn from your mistakes and your miracles will not be too far behind.

I Got To Plant. Seeds have been planted for you and the favor will come when you plant seeds for others. Show others the positive aspects of your life that will have their seeds grow up from good soil.

I Got To Picture. Look into your future and see the type of life that you want. Paint the picture that you want with a brush of imagination. Create it in your mind even if others dare not to think big.

I Got To Persuade. If you ever want to set sail sometimes you have to sell. Once you have that picture of you succeeding all you have to do is go with the flow. Add a little style to your smile and doors will open to a victory.

I Got To Push. If one door closes another door will open. A door may get stuck and not fully close. If you push hard enough blessings will continue to come. Keep pushing and never stop.

I Got To Prevail. When you push long enough you will prevail. With your hands raised high you will begin to recieve the awards that were already reserved in your name.

I Got To Prosper. Prosperity is charity. depending on what version of the good book you read, charity is love. Speak great things into your life and the lives of others.

I wrote this to inspire and encourage you so that you won't say I Got To P, "I Got To Perish."

Derrick, that was great! I have not seen the movie yet. However, everyone I know who has seen it has called me to say, "You gotta go see it." It was my plan to go when I first heard about it because I love Tyler's work. This weekend I will see it. Thanks for pointing people to prayer. God is real and He wants to be in our lives. He is the one who can breathe life into all of us, even into dead situations in our lives. God bless you and keep on keeping on. (smile)
