I have not been on here in a minute. so much has happened since I last posted a blog. I have started my band, but I am still looking for musicians to play....so if you live in Memphis or the immediate surrounding areas and you play guitar, bass guitar, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, percussion, or you sing.....send me an email @ vfmtheband@yahoo.com. Anyway, This year my son starts Kindergarten. It is so amazing how fast children grow and how smart they are. My son has a heart of gold!!! The band had their first gig at the Soul Cafe, which is owned by New Direction Christian Church here in Memphis, TN earlier this month. We did a good job but we still have a lot to learn. I am also working on adding other acts as I am also starting my own entertainment company. I want singing groups, spoken word artists, individual musicians, DJs etc to book around town and the surrounding areas (and eventually the country)for events, so if you are interested in that as well shoot me an email. Anyway I have been very busy with that, studying for the LSAT, my baby(Joshua), and either getting promoted on my job or leaving. I have been here for three and a half years and although I have been a blessing or tried to be a blessing to each of my clients...I am still not happy in my position.
