Just wondering, if we offered you an hbcuconnect.com email address where you could have "yourname@hbcuconnect.com" and be able to check email daily and send email daily from our site, how many people would actually use this feature?

We are definitely considering adding email addresses for our users, but we need to know if people would actually use an hbcuconnect.com address. Please vote and add your comments on the idea...

I think it would be a wonderful idea, it would give students, alumni, and others a secondary account and one day be used as a main source for emailing and communicating with the other 104 HBCUs in the country

That is a good idea. I'm alway on this site and it would be conveinent to just check my email while on this website. So go for it.

Not a good idea. By the time we reach late high school years or early college years we would already have an e-mail account with yahoo or somebody. We wouldn't be able to use this site if we weren't preparing for college yet. By the time we are ready to start searching we would have one with yahoo or somebody.
